Nicole Orr, OTS

Hi, everyone! My name is Shine, pronounced “shine” like in sunshine. I’m a 1st year Occupational Therapy graduate student at SJSU with experiences working with children with disabilities in an occupational therapy-based karate program. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA with my parents and lovely three sisters (fun fact: I’m an identical twin) and received my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Policy at UC Irvine (Class of 2020). My hobbies include rock climbing, drinking way too much boba, taking pictures wherever I go, and watching ALL of the Marvel movies.
I am so excited to be working in a pediatric OT setting where I can be a part of the unique journeys that each child and their parents are on and I look forward to supporting each child’s development together with the OT lens.
