My Why

My why for opening OT Park occupational therapy services is rooted in my passion for helping children with special needs achieve independence and acceptance in society. As a dedicated occupational therapist, I have always wanted to provide the most unique and effective pediatric services to the community. It was my dream to create a clinic that would be loved by everyone, especially by families who have children with conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, and other special needs.

At OT Park, we strive to offer the world’s best occupational therapy services to children with special needs. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we are committed to helping them achieve that. Our team of experienced therapists works closely with each child and their family to develop a customized treatment plan that addresses their specific needs and goals.

Our ultimate goal is to help children develop the skills they need to live fulfilling lives and become active members of their communities. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the children we serve and their families, and we are honored to be a part of their journey.

Teaching OT!

Teaching occupational therapy is my passion and I am thrilled to be a fieldwork educator and lecturer at OT Park and San Jose State University, respectively. As a fieldwork educator, I have the opportunity to mentor Level 1 and Level 2 fieldwork students pursuing a master’s or doctorate degree in occupational therapy. It is my responsibility to guide these students and provide them with valuable learning experiences that will help them succeed in their careers.

As a lecturer in the master’s program at San Jose State University’s Occupational Therapy department, I am able to share my knowledge and expertise with aspiring occupational therapists. It is an honor to be part of a program that is shaping the future of the occupational therapy profession.

In both roles, my ultimate goal is to inspire and empower students to become competent, compassionate, and effective occupational therapists. It brings me great joy to see my students grow and develop as they gain hands-on experience and apply the theories and concepts learned in the classroom to real-world situations.

Teaching occupational therapy is not just a job for me, it is a calling. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students and contribute to the field of occupational therapy.
